Atom Science

Yesterday we built four atoms, Hydrogen/Helium/Lithium/Beryillium, using tasty items! The students learned about the parts of an atom:
-protons
-electrons
-neutrons
-nucleus
-orbitals (the rules for the first three: 2-8-18)

We also learned some other key vocabulary terms:
-atomic number
-symbol
