This week is off to a great start. I have so many more pictures but can't share them all until everyone gets their blog permission form back. If you haven't done so please do so at your earliest convenience. Thank you! We started off our week in math with math journaling (how many ways) and outdoor exploration math. Ask us about the numbers we have written in our journals and about the sticks and patterns we used and how they relate to math.
We have been working on our growth mindset. This means, we have been training our brain to work hard, stay focused and have goals. We also realize the brain is a muscle and needs it work out. Ask us about the power of yet and positive self talk.

| These are our personal goals and motivation flags. Ask us what we wrote. |
We were so surprised when Mrs. Sharpe came in for a visit with baby Bennett. We will all miss her and hope she has a great year off with her new baby boy!
Grade 3 students often get extra jobs. These amazing few volunteered to reorganize our equipment room after we came back to a big mess. I'm always proud of students willing to put in extra effort. Way to go grade 3's! You sure are acting like the leaders of the school already.
We have so many art projects on the go this week. Ask us about our name tags, how we made them and how we will use them! Great job everyone! Also ask us about our upcoming mural project!
