Halloween Pumpkin Carving and Howl
On October 30th
the grade 3s will be carving pumpkins from 9:45 until 11:35. We would like each
student to bring their own pumpkin from home to carve at school for the
Halloween Howl, which will take place on Oct 31st in the afternoon.
This way each student can choose a pumpkin, and there is not a risk of having
any bad/deformed pumpkins, and students being upset over which pumpkin they
have gotten.
Pumpkins can be as large or small as the
student would like. Please remember that the student is expected to carve the
pumpkin themselves. (With adult help)
A note is going home today about this. Thank you!

Fire Safety and Orange Shirt Day
We learned a lot during Fire Safety Day! Ask us about our meeting spots and help us learn addresses of places we stay (home, grandparents etc)
Orange shirt day is an important aknowledgement of the Residential Schools that happened in Canada. We will be learning more about it in the winter. Ask us what we talked about with Mrs. Keiver today!
We managed to have some outdoor choice time! Ask us about it!

A Busy and Fun Start!
We have had a lot on the go! Between Terry Fox and getting into new routines we have hit the ground running! Take a look at all we've been up to and ask us about our new routines and how much we raised in our first leadership project!
